From a recent photo shoot more on III Imaging
Photographing children can be demanding, they have a short attention span and bore easily. On a photo shoot the environment is extremely boring to young children, understandably. Having to sit still, the flashes and the endless repeats is a bit much to handle when you are around 4 years old. So the photographer has to try to be funny and exciting at the same time as creative and technical. So sometimes I have said things that make me sound a bit wacky, the title of this post is probably rather strange but it is the one phrase that has always brought a smile to a young models face. I know this as I have 2 kids and at a certain age everything that has something to do with bodily functions is unbelievably funny and fun to say. So I get to be a kid again to try to amuse the kids in front of the camera. As I have a strong dislike to hand puppets(some childhood trauma) I have to use some other means to entertain and being immature and strange seems to work.
