Went up island last week with Greg to shoot some new stuff. Here are a couple of photos from that trip. We stayed with Greg´s friends, Temple and Rebekka. Had a great time, saw lot of wild-life and we got to go out in Temple´s boat. Nice trip.

I also hiked from Parkinson Creek to Botanical Beach with my brother on the week end. This is a part of the Juan de Fuca Marine trail. We saw some bears along the way, the only one that stood still for a while was a young male that was sitting on a stump besides the trail. As luck would have it I had my fisheye on the camera, still took a photo.

There is a bear there somewhere!

As some may have noticed I am changing the look of the blog, going to try white for a while if this does not resonate with anyone, please tell, suggest, reach out….

I liked the bear. Surprised you didn’t see wildlife in Gold River. We lived up there for several years, and had lots of it around, sometimes way too close for comfort.
Nice photos … did you take any of the town itself?

We saw a lot of wildlife in Goldriver Judy, just havent worked those photos yet. The bears were everywhere, on the golfcourse, on the airstrip and by the harbour. I took very few of the town it self, it is a strange town, kind of like a suburb in the middle of nowhere!

    Cheers
