I always get a giddy feeling when I see this photo, remembering the trip and the fact I got to eat the Salmon this guy caught. Grilled over an open fire in the wilderness, at the heart of Vancouver Island.

Hi Snorri, loved your photos, I have never been to this area. I write wildlife poetry set in bc parks. Do you have any noteworthy info about unusual land features, river comments, or wildlife sightings (other than bears) for this area?
