Since coming home in the beginning of the year I have been a frequent visitor at my sister´s farm, Sturluhóll in north Iceland. She and her husband are farmers, with sheep and horses- so usually there are many subjects for photography.

A couple of friends and I, just launched BCoutside.com it is an Online Magazine on Active Lifestyle and Travel. Medium to long articles on all kinds of subjects that have a common denominator, being outside. Check it out and visit often, as it will be updated on a very regular basis.
The idea is to share the vast library of prose and photography that we collect through our travels in this beautiful province. We are always open to stories with photos from other outdoor enthusiasts, so if you want to contribute send me an email with your ideas.

Went to Lake Cohwichan for a weekend, stayed in a town with a strange name, Youbou.
Many strange, unusual, beautiful and wacky names on the Island and Youbou will go into that category.
Most of the photos I took were long exposures with a 5 stop ND filter.

12 sek exposure at dusk, I like the purple tint from the ND filter in this image, usually I colour correct ND filter images, but I think it works uncorrected in this one.

Just came back from a trip to the Tashish-Kwois Park on the West Coast.
The park is only accessible from the ocean so we canoed in and up the Tashish-Kwois River.
Unbelievably beautiful place. I shot over 800 photos and I am slowly working on the picks. I´ll add a gallery from the park in the next few days. Oh and speaking of galleries, on the right hand panel there is a new feature, galleries. It is a flash based collections of my work. I´ll be updating them and adding new ones every now and then so stay tuned.
On the horizon is a journey that will take me through Alberta, Banff, Yellowstone and Colorado. I´ll be leaving at the beginning of October. I have high hopes of getting some quality photos on that trip. More on that later.
