Icelandic Landscape Winter

Winter and summer in Iceland are complete opposites. In summer vibrant greens contrast the black sands and cliffs, but in winter Iceland appears nearly monochrome. White snow covers the ground and if overcast the vista can seem very bleak.

However, when the light decides to play, vivid colours appear and with the ever changing weather clouds form dramatic shapes, interacting with the light and the elements.
