Icelandic Landscape Summer

Winter and summer in Iceland are complete opposites. In summer vibrant greens contrast the black sands and cliffs, but in winter Iceland appears nearly monochrome. Summer offers endless light and a magic hour that is several hours.

Easier weather allows for more time spent in the field photographing, capturing the subtle arctic light and colourful vistas. My favourite area in the summer are the Westfjords, very diverse and desolate.
